Except in London we’re mostly facing Indian restaurants ran by friendly families offering pre-cooked food with little Indian spice and heat: too adaptive to European tastes! In Berlin I recommend the extraordinary fine dining temple INDIA CLUB – and for an everyday quick modern Indian bite THE HOUSE OF TANDOOR. Unlike in those family-ran eateries you can watch the chefs in the widely open kitchen and you’ll see: everything is cooked freshly.
