SIX ZERO is the restaurant of a hotel called THE FLAMINGO with a pink flamingo as the logo. WHAT ??? A hotel named The Flamingo at the rough eastern sea where hotels called The Dunes or The Shell Beach? When an investor and owner is breaking all the (boring) rules in the hotel – he/she might do the same in his restaurant ?

Exactly! In a overcrowded touristic hot spot the owners of SIX ZERO wanted a place with terrific food, wines, chefs, sommeliers & waiters … and they created with SIX ZERO a kind of wonder: one of the best restaurants in Germany – in a touristic hot spot! Unbelievable.
My Cesar was utterly delicious, just using the most crunchy parts of the salad, fine fibers of Parmigiana and the sauce not too fishy.
My steak was originally US style: Black’N’Blue … and the picture tells everything … 3 x WOW! Finally: what is one of the several signs of a perfectly managed kitchen: that the quality is always THE SAME !
Go to Timmendorf, walk in the sand, swim in the sea … and dine Friday to Sunday at the very best restaurant at the coast.
