Weekends

On my first trip to Paris I spent two days on the terrasse of a lovely café in a lively but not touristic quarter and let Little Paris pass me by - instead of running my feet to the bone without learning & understanding anything.
So whenever I wanna walk, I walk. But to experience the culture & vibe of a city - I love to move in small circles.
To this MUNICH WEEKEND you even can invite your grandma …

This weekend plan combines excellence and walking distance: the ELYSÉE, HENRIKS,
AUBENALSTER, WOHNHALLE, SHOPPING AREA & LA BOTTEGA - are all in walking distance from your lovely hotel. A remark about the hotel: not the newest and utterly edgy - but still a perfectly owner managed icon of great hospitality - and the ALKOVEN is the must book room. In May I will write the summer version of.

CAN YOU FEEL IT? SPRING TIME IS COMING ... I
Take an ICE to Munich (4 hours from Berlin), stay in the lovely owner managed & centrally located HOTEL PLATZL (with an exceptional relaxing big lobby) and dine at the ANDECHSER AM DOM (see my review).
Then 4 hours train ride to BOLZANO - saying good bye to the mountains.
Sleep in the PARKHOTEL LAURIN and find yourself a romantic inn in the South Tyrolean hills.
Next day just 40 minutes train ride and you arrive at the GATE TO THE SOUTHERN FLAIR OF ITALY, which we all missed for so many months.
My recommendations are the HOTEL AMERICA and the best for dinner is the
SCRIGNO DEL DOMO (many good places are around the dome).
And the most exciting PERSPECTIVE? You‘re now at the ENTRANCE to whole ITALY.
From here you can take trains to everywhere ...
