There is a big building in the very heart of Munich, Dienerstraße 14, where I can spend whole days. Firstly: in the ground floor you have in my p.o.v. the best food store in Germany: smaller than Berlins KaDeWe – but utter focus on quality versus quantity. Many mouthwatering packed portions are perfect for your cozy lunch at a park bench or in your hotel room – accompanied by a great wine from Dallmayr’s unbelievable wine store. And all that more romantic and less pricy than in a restaurant.

Secondly: the cool Bar & Grill even on ground floor with the best steaks & fish a la minute.

Thirdly: upstairs the Café & Bistrot – where Munichs society ladies have their regulars’ table and their de Luxe breakfast, small lunch or opulent cake sessions – and their lengthy chats and gossips.

And if that’s still not enough – fourthly: the highly decorated fine dining restaurant Alois.

The DALLMAYR FOOD CASTLE is surrounded by all expensive designer shops so that you can lose even a lot more money just foot steps away. Now you’re exhausted?

Well the relaxing English Garden is very close as well. Munich is always worth a wonderful but expensive trip.
