Smeary sales language would announce that many users asked me to do hotel ratings as well – so 1 had to follow. Nope. Nobody asked for that except myself. But here it is anyway: my FIRST HOTEL RATING!

Munich is a lovely lovely city, always worth a trip and with many great restaurants and a lot of (yes, expensive) hotels. During my many stays in Munich I had to try various hotels since my NUMBER ONE was fully booked.

No wonder, given the incredible location and the utter charme of this traditional Munich legend with a warm hospitality and a recent full renovation. It’s not a budget hotel (I have a recommendation for that in one of my next hotel postings) – but to stay at THE PLATZL is worth any Euro and always makes me very happy!
