The architect of the Walter-Benjamin-Platz in Berlin-Charlottenburg was influenced by the Piazza San Carlo in Turin. And indeed he changed a huge parking place into a big PIAZZA ITALIANA in the historic center of West-Berlin. In summer its a wonderful place for families, especially kids & Italian Food lovers with the kiosk for a drink & a chat and the beautiful terrasse of IL CALICE for long romantic summer eve dinners …  La vita è bella !
