
THE STARTER: Tuna carpaccio with tomatoes, cilantro, pickled chilis and capperini. Imagine you’re sitting in the summer heat in a romantic beach restaurant on Sicily – this utterly fresh tuna carpaccio with all the herbs is refreshing your mind and body – and a Franciacorta Spumante does the rest – OMG! I always have that scenery in my mind, when I have MINE’s TUNA CARPACCIO – even in cold November.
THE MAIN: Filetto al Pepe Nero with Porcini mushrooms and Tuscan potatoes with rosemary and garlic: the PORCINI & PEPE NERO sauce is so very much TASTE, TASTE & TASTE – that I always have to have it at MINE’s! It gives you an incredible overwhelming taste in your mouth and such a warm feeling in your stomach – that all the November Blues is vanishing. And a glass of DOMAINE DE CAMBES makes the warmth even perfect.
THE DESSERT: and finally the airy meringue with mango and passionfruit comes as a kind of PAVLOVA, which always reminds me of TAHITY BEACH in SAINT TROPEZ, the love of my life. SO ALL IN ALL: my evening at MINE was a trip to Sicily, to Tyrol in November and to Saint Tropez in May. What else can one ask for?
