Of all the cities I have traveled to, Basel is one of the most liveable: not too big and not too small, Swiss lifestyle steps away from France and Germany – with a river for swimming and very good restaurants. My favorite? Restaurant, bar and an open air garden Eden – the Restaurant Kunsthalle.
