We owe to the French the invention of The RESTAURANTS (due to the bloody revolution) and especially the ROTISSERIES (Confrérie des Rôtisseurs 1793).

I tried The ROTISSERIE WEINGRUN many years ago and it was just okay-ish for me. Recently Renate Dengg & Max Setrak (from the AUSTRIAN JOLESCH, see my rating) took over, made the good almost sensational and modernized the whole menu.

I didn’t expect too much (what always is a smart start) but then I was simply overwhelmed! Especially the CRISPY DUROC PORK BELLY is not of this world and the best I ever had! For me even better than in all Top Asian Food Temples! But please calm down my wonderful Asian Chefs especially in Berlins Kantstrasse: on the other side the SALMON CEVICHE is in The DUC Ngos FUNKY FISCH much spicier and tastier.
