It was like meeting a true love years after the separation again, as I entered THE BROOKLYN, which I launched in 2011 and sold 2017. What happened to „my baby” in the past? All I knew was, that it was recently closed for some time and reopened 6 weeks ago with a new chef owner and his wife. I really wished that it is still good – but I was scared, that it’s not.

My first impression was a very very impressive MAITRE, who showed the service of high class places. And I thought by myself: that the chef Mr. T. hired such a high caliber Maitre, that tells me a lot… Mr. T. is an utterly passionate and gifted chef and together with his managing wife and the great Maitre they’re a MAGIC TRIO, making THE BROOKLYN for me the only WORLD CLASS STEAK TEMPLE in Germany, I know.

Am I biased because of my history? Nope. I’m just so RELIEVED that my baby after a certain pause now has a great future (without me).
