
Due to my years in NYC and later as an owner of an American Fine Dining place in Berlin (long ago) I now could talk for hours – but I shut up.
Except two hints:
US beef imports are very very expensive und US FILET you seldom find on the menu, since it’s simply not affordable.
AND: avoid Steak HOUSES – go for Steak RESTAURANTS, since they must have and have really good chefs – not just bbq staff.
How to check? Those restaurants offer more than steaks: so the WIENER SCHNITZEL at THE Grill is really very good – and it proves: they have real chefs …
