In the scenic part of Berlin Kreuzberg are many nice restaurants – not food temples, but good & charming wine bars & eateries.
So as I arrived at the TIRE-BOUCHON I expected:                                                                                       1. a FRENCH Restaurant (and the French places never are really bad!).                                                 2. I was sure to experience a WINE TEMPLE ( since the                                                                  FRENCH know most about wines and have the best ones).

AND??? “DREAMER, YOU’RE NOTHING BUT A DREAMER …!”                                                       The song gives the answer.
In contrast to the promising name I was wine-wise shocked and food-wise very disappointed!

Since the menu just showed a few categories but no wineries and years, I tried to escape by asking wether they have Champagne, Cremant or Prosecco. The waitress tried to find out but could not check the bottle. So she brought the bottle and asked me to read the sparkling label … OMG !!! —

– But wait a moment!
Maybe I just was fooled by a tv show called HIDDEN CAMERA ???
